Donaldson Shuts it down!

lol Thomas Brown is about 6'0 225 and looks like Sam Bruce standing by Donaldson and Searles

Point taken. Made me look though. Brown is actually 5-8, Sam Bruce sized, according to the NFL.

I was about to say... Thomas Brown is most definitely NOT 6'.

I looked it up and the sports reference page says 6'0... I met him at App State he's as tall as me and I'm 6'0.. he may be 5'11

If Donaldson is the most important recruit, Im going to submit Deejay for the next most important recruit. If his contribution on the field as a freshman is in the middle of Homer and (What other frosh can I say? Five of the contributing frosh are ****ing savages) and Njoku I think he will be able to continue being a great player ambassador. I don't think he has to be an AA in other words. I do think he needs to be a contributor to continue having his "voice" if you will.

I really think he is that important to the class and program. Crazy that Im suggesting a non quarterback is that important to the program. Maybe I am nuts!

Well Deejay's an EE so I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting significant playing time next season at corner given our weak depth there.

I thought he was coming in as a corner, but having checked out his film (finally) and with who we're after at CB and WR I wouldn't be surprised if he plays O for us.

I would be extremely disappointed for Deejay and us if he doesn't get an extended look at Corner. Those are cornerback attributes he flashes.

Ya I saw that after. The first one that popped up when I searched ( first thing I wanted to know when I saw the picture was how tall he was lol) was from Sports Reference or something and said 6'0

Most important recruit on our board.

Understatement.

Could probably go a step further and say the most important recruit we've had in the last 15 years when you consider the need of the position right now. Probably the best prospect we've signed (assuming we're signing him) since Flowers and Artie Burns

You dudes are getting carried away. He's a super prospect, and we need him. But you're piling it on a little thick.

I mean I was thinking of the recruits we've got over the years and the type of NFL prospects they were.. He's right up there with Flowers who was a first rounder. Being that type of prospect, an EE, and the need for OL help.. I don't think it's that farfetched.

No one thought Flowers would be a first rounder when he got here. **** when we first offered him people ed because he was a 3 star.

Not sure who you're talking about.. Flowers was rated basically the same as Donaldson. High 4 star

Ereck Flowers, Norland, Offensive Tackle

Guess you missed the part where I said first offered him. We were the first of the in state schools to do so and he wasn't a 4 star then. Everyone assumed it was a package to get Duke and Brown.

Nice try tho.

I don't remember anyone crying about it. I wasn't on here at the time so I can't speak for that but everything I read everyone knew he was a stud and his ratings were about to blow up. I remember people complaining that he didn't have an offer because he'd already started getting offers that summer on the camp circuit and we were late

Donaldson is certainly an important recruit and someone we need desperately but Nkosi Perry is by far the most important recruit in this class.

Disagree.....Cade Weldon will probably beat him out. Donaldson is way more important

Don't know about Weldon beating out Perry. But Donaldson is by far our most important recruit this cycle and it isn't even close. Some kids like DJ Johnson and others his level deserve a duffle bag or two. Donaldson deserves an SUV loaded with cash to come here.

Everyone loved Flowers. He was crowned here from the get-go.
