Playing for or winning a NC will open the door to 50 recruits who never would have even considered coming to UM. I will gladly give up 2 or 3 recruits this year for a chance at those other guys. on top of a chance to be the school that ends this SEC suckfest. A NC is what this sht is all about period.

Actually this is wrong, not because we will play or not play for this NC, but because we have no control over the situation.

To the board,

All the canes can do is control what lies ahead for US. We can't control the fact that the ACC will suck or be great (i.e. they win their OOC games) but we can control our fate in the game for us that lies ahead.

So everyone getting worked up for UF's loss of Easley, it doesn't matter because we already played and beat them (with Easley). What they do after our game is 100% on them and 0% on us.

At the end of the year we will have a record, as will every other team in the nation. That record will include or not include an appearance in the ACCCG and perhaps a victory in said game. After these 12/13 games, we will have some arbitrary ranking according to the BCS. And again, at this point we will have ZERO control on our destiny. Between USF and X (our last regular season game before a bowl) we can control.

Don't get upset because UF loses their stud, we have no control over that.

This outweighs the schedule IMO.

UiF has never been as successful in our backyard as they are this cycle. They have great recruiters and are coming off a strong season. We beat them and I get the thought that you don't want that tarnished, but long term it means more for us to have them fall apart at the seams.

I get both sides of the debate though.
 
We beat that *** at full strength. Now they need to fade into oblivion and finish 2-10. All the NT talk is meaningless. Show me 2 teams that look like locks to go undefeated or looks like a juggernaut? We need to whip USF then move to GT, all the other stuff will work out. But UF should burn to the ground.
