Does anyone have info on Burnett?

Most teams rotate 8 for substantial minutes, sometimes 9. Adding uceda is going to take away from someone. Reeds Carved out a niche as a shutdown. Newton has superstar potential. Palmer and Burnett are great deep bench options. It's just a really really good team. I'd guess the hot hands get the nod moving forward .

Thank you, this quickly turned into a Reed OR Burnett debate.

Reed has hit his shots and plays solid defense. He did a great job staying on Cooney for most of the game, I don't think it gets enough recognition for how much endurance that takes.

I'm with most people in thinking that something is up with Burnett health/discipline wise and that having Uceda doesn't phase Burnett out of the rotation completely.

And Newton has had a few DNPs this year as well. Lots of talent at the guard position.

Joe Thomas quickly went from starter to 11th man in the rotation.

Iirc The last few games before Burnetts bench riding began he didn't play well, and not sure he is a good defender.

I remember specifically at ND he comes in makes a bad turnover gets yanked right out.

Burnett is shooting 30% on threes and only 37% overall. Reed is shooting 52% on threes and 50% overall. Here is a link to those (and other) stats:

transfer bc other guys r stepping up at the moment? pussification of society is here huh? he should use it as motivation in practice to force L to use him, make L see he's an asset that must play for the team to win games comfortably.

You clearly are not in touch with todays athlete. The answer is always take the easy way out. Especially in College Basketball.

Do you live under a rock? Yes, transfer. It's what many athletes today do in that situation (not saying it's right, just reality).

I think Miami has the chance to be the best team in their basketball history next season with all these guys returning also adding the Oklahoma State transfer at PF.

I don't want Burnett to transfer, because he is a scorer and the year after next he and Manu, Newton, and Reed will need to replace the scoring from Angel and Sheldon.

I really believe this team can make the final four next year if they stay healthy. And we all know if you make it to the final four then you can win it all.
 
What were you saying then NS? What is your point? or didn't you have one? as for Smokey why don't the two of you get a room?

It looks like we laid an egg tonight but Burnett got it so I'm happy and I'm sure NS is too.
