no, espn3 is considered an online channel. WatchESPN allows you to watch whatever is on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3. Can't watch ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU games without putting your provider info. ESPN3 you just need to have a compatible internet provider, don't need to have a cable service.
