Do we jump in to the top 10?

I say no, but we should move up a couple spots after our win today.

We're sitting at 15 in both polls.

Number 11 Oklahoma State lost, so we will jump them for sure.

If Georgia loses again, we will jump them. If Notre Dame beats #14 Oklahoma, we jump them. If BC can upset FSU, we will jump the Noles. South Carolina nearly lost to UCF, and if they weren't in the SEC we would be jumping them as well.

Will be interesting to see the polls tomorrow or monday or whenever they come out. We keep taking care of business, polls take care of themselves as other teams drop like flies week after week.

Doubt we jump Georgia if they lose.

And I don't want to be in the top 10 until we prove we can stay there.

Yeah a 4-0 Miami would be ranked ahead of a 2 loss georgia. Remember they lost earlier in the year as well.

Never said they should or shouldn't. But 2 of their losses are to top 10 teams and they have a win against USCe.

"Should" has nothing to do with it, there's no way a 2 loss team is ranked in the top 10 this early in the year, it doesn't matter who the losses were to.

I know they won't be top 10 if they lose, but I doubt they fall far. Whether we jump them or not, the difference in poll position will be minuscule.

If UGA loses again, they'll drop to 15-17 or lower, easy. I don't care who they lost to, and what conference they're in.

This SEC stuff got to stop, I dont care who you lose to. You lose 2 games this early in the season, you should tumble. This SEC round robin stuff got to stop. All decent teams start in top ten and all get a mulligan against eachother no matter what.

Nothing against you Oh Snap, my jimmies just rustled with this SEC propaganda that I see gaining more and more steam every week courtesy of the talking heads...

NO WAY a 2 loss team should be ahead of undefeated team from good conferences. You lose, you tumble

EXACTLY. All SEC teams get free passes for losses against conference opponents because they are deemed "tough/ranked opponents"....

But why are they ranked if only two of the conference members ever play anyone outside of conference and consistently win? (LSU and Alabama).

The preranking system essentially guarantees that three sec teams will finish in the top 10. Until they prove it against other conferences (which as of last week, SEC was tied even when playing other conferences) there is no reason to have teams ranked so high early in the year. USCe is the perfect example, they have no reason to be ranked 12th right now, and if they don't drop after the game against UCF today then idk what the **** is going on.

I think we get at least 13th.

Sad part about the whole SEC - best in the nation crap, was how they played defense and won more than they lost to other conferences. I guess someone forgot to give them that memo this year.
