True. I think he's genuinely sour at Miami. I think he feels like he was hosed more than once with officiating. He's a little old for the can't-beat-em-join-em mentality. He's already been to the show.
But I could be wrong. What a great retirement job to have? Coach QBs and live in paradise. Gets to mentor a young great (hope) offensive coordinator (assuming he wouldn't try and take over).

I don’t like QB coaches that never played the position (college or pro). That’s a very unique position on the field that requires first hand experience (mindset, the way a QB sees the field and processes info). Only a former QB should coach QBs.
Guys like Ponce and Coley should never ever coach QBs.
