Do some of you still only believe we're good for 6 games ?

Of course.

I was talking about the D though. As bad as we looked it could have been much worse. Just trying to keep a little perspective about the rest of the year.

6.5 is the perfect O/U # that I see.

BC is in. I expect a tough loss against KState. BethCook makes 2 wins. I expect us to split GT-NC State, there's 3. I expect (hope) we can take 1 out of the next four (ND, NC, FSU, VT), that gets us to 4 wins. I expect us to go 2-1 or 3-0 against the last three, with that being the difference between 6 & 7. I feel like that's being very realistic given our concerns on D.
 
There was enough yesterday to fuel the optimists and the pessimists. Except BC on the road is a good win. So now we only need to go 5-6 to win 6. Anyone who took the under should be concerned now. I still think 7-8 wins is what we should expect.

Gt we've dominated since the 500 yard debacle. That, NCST, unc, duke and BCC are all assured wins IMO.

How many are we going to win of the @kst @nd FSU vt USF @uva group? If we go 2-4 that's an 8 win season.

Of course we can and will probably drop one or two of those games we shouldn't, but we could also win one or two of the ones we shouldn't, as well.
 
A 6-6 record can be a huge failure or a huge win for us.

As long as those 6 wins are against conference opponents, We have a shot at a ACCCG.

Its gonna be tough beating those teams. I can see Glennon and Renner absolutely shredding our defense.

Yep, we are going to have to fight both of them tooth and nail. Rettig is nowhere near the QB Renner is. I haven't seen much of Glennon but I know he is highly regarded. Renner is the best passer in the conference that I have seen.

Yep. 6 or 7. Dont see us beating KSU, ND, UNC, VT or FSU realistically, even though I think our boys will be so ready for FSU
 
Ncstate is not a good team, and Glennon is an average qb.

Unc should have a good offense, but their defense doesn't exactly strike fear.
 
Maybe it's just me, but if we somehow manage to beat K State (which would mean some improvement from the D), then my outlook and expectations would totally change. If that were to happen, then momentum would be on their side.

And with a young team, that could propel them to a 8 or 9 win season.

I doubt we do cause Klein is gonna run all day, but **** it would be sweet

Rettig is below average and he could have put up over 500 yards if his receivers didn't drop passes. Glennon is much better and so is the talent around him.

u could see how we started to dominate bc yesterday and the swag came through, i think that will only get more intense as the season goes on and propell us to more wins forsure
 
We got lucky at least 3 times that I remember yesterday. Those 3 plays may not have been tds in their own but could've sustained drives that either were or stopped ours. Without major improvement we struggle against all opponents. Our offense cannot be expected to throw up 30+ a game. Just doesn't work.

THIS.

Our defense is gonna get shredded every game we play. Remember how bad our D was last year. Well either it's the same or has gotten worse cause of the lack of depth and inexperience. I had 8 wins but I think between 5 and 6 wins is more accurate. Our defense is so bad every QB we play is gonna shred us.
