Do people really think Mario has no plan or idea…

"Manny Diaz needed more time" & "Fire Mario right now" is a venn diagram intersection that I didn't know existed till this thread. Learn something new every day.

Fair, lol.

I do think the 3 year record comparisons are a bit of a subterfuge: trajectories are different and Mario's lost his last 7 regular season games by an average of 7.1 pts whereas Diaz lost his last 7 by an average of 17.3.
Mario has a better roster but I dont see a huge diff between this year and mannys king season.

both carried by a QB and covered up major holes. well see how next year goes.

On which qb to take? Or that people not yet in the portal haven’t reached out? QBs maybe on teams still playing?
I’m sure reps from some qbs have reached out and expressed some interest. Some people we don’t might hit the portal.
You mean like this time last season when everyone freaked out that we weren’t getting Cam, and we let Will Howard slip thru our fingers?
That crowd is still convinced Cam did not come to UM because Mario dropped the ball.

TrumpyCane just loves to call out the hypocrisy

Imagine defending Manny by saying you cant judge him after 2 years because we've been crap for 15+ years then wanting Mario fired after going 10-2 in his 3rd year

Stay consistent

Obvious difference is we lost 2 games by 61 points that year and lost 2 games by 9 points this year. I agree that next year is key.

I will say as much as I’ve been on the side of Mario I’m a little concerned. I was told this portal off season would be a quality over quantity year. And I’m seeing us linked to a lot of guys who I’m not sure are difference makers. Maybe we nail it with scouting and fit ala IU this year or even kinda SMU… but those coaches even to have a better sense of identity.

Please take an English class, as your last sentence makes no sense at all.

Never fails... LOL. I got no dawg in this fight, just chimed in to be a ****.

FIFY...

Not to be an ***, but I believe placing a comma before "as" is grammatically correct.

The sentence above contains two independent clauses. When using "as" in a sentence with two independent clauses, a comma should be used.

:)

Yes, Mario has a plan. Probably a few backup plans too.

Crackheads have plans to get more crack.

It doesn't make a difference. Serious, competitive players and coaches are going to avoid this program.

Noone good wants to work for Mario.

Noone talented wants to play for his coaches.

Everyone see thru the smoke. We're a .500 team that had good players on offense and the best QB in the nation.

And that's not enough for Mario to even make it to the conference championship.

If you're serious about going pro, why would you want to be a part of this defense??

Mario's going into his 4th season and no offensive lineman he's coached here have played in the NFL, and no WR he's recruited has started here.
