I don't think SJ is taking any OG job cause he's a center. But even if he did he is highly rated and obviously talented, and the guys on the roster have potential but have always been developmental pieces. Like Nino was like our lowest rated guy in last class. Him and Rodriguez are like our only centers right now. Ryan Rodriguez isn't the same talent as SJ though. But that is a good example of us not NEEDING a portal guy there... Rodriguez CAN start for us and likely be average to above average. Maybe even good. He did start when healthy after all. A portal guy may be great. But does that mean we NEED one?...

It's similar to LB. Look at all the young talent we have there. Would you be surprised if Kellen Wiley started? Do we NEED a portal LB?... Sure I'd prefer to trade Wes and Alderman for a good portal LB, but I think Pruitt, Popo, Wiley, Bobby, Hayes can all be good.

I just don't think SJ beating out developmental sophomores or even juniors is some crazy thing or a negative indicator of anything. RS JR is when id start expecting 3star OLineman to either get PT or portal out (unless they are just happy being ok depth pieces). We have like 2 or 3 guys at that point lol

Couldn’t get to the conference championship with a top 5 NFL pick at QB, Mario is the goat. Is anyone in the country right now celebrating Miami in a positive light? No, because we puked all over ourselves and had everything in our control…until we didn’t.

Only our dumb *** fanbase would celebrate this season as a success. Y’all deserve perpetual 8-9 win seasons of no postseason appearances if this is a “successful” result and see no issues.

on top of that, samson was another five star that has absolutely busted.

i like Carr and Traders talent but no way have they proven theyre ready. well see in the spring (part of why i wish the starters would opt out of the bowl so we can get a real look at the next guys up to see where were at entering the spring)

we literally need like a new starting roster on D which is wild to say entering year 4. were looking at a new starting DT, DE, potentially 2 new LBs, 2 S, and another DB plus after OJ.

Yet most people want to fire Manny despite his recruiting success. Will he be a successful HC? Maybe, maybe not, but it takes more than 2 years to recover from the cluster !@#$ of the previous 15+ years. He has shown the willingness to make changes, and obviously he can recruit considering the last 2 classes in the midst of a 6-7 season last year.

Overhaul the defensive staff, continue recruiting...
