Dnofrio scenario

So as always there are tons of fans on the dnofrio wagon and there are just as many who want to burn that wagon with him inside it, so this thread is not about if Dnofrio is good or not. We also know that him and Golden are tight and there is 0% chance that Golden would ever fire him, so this thread is not about if Golden will fire him.

The question here is that it's obvious our defensive numbers have improved drastically from last year regardless if you want to give dnofrio credit or not, teams looking for a new HC, are likely going to see this. For those of you that hate Dnofrio, unless Al gets fired, this is the only other way he is going anywhere.

So I ask everyone, what our your thoughts on dnofrio 1. receiving offers to become a HC elsewhere and 2. taking any such offers.

Obviously this is all just hypothetical possibilities, but while Al won't fire him and he's not going to make a lateral move, he may leave to become a HC.

Coach D is a great DC and will be sorely missed if he's poached away from Miami. I've seen our fans go full ****** through the decades and will see it time and time again. They are an instant gratification bunch with zero vision or patience. The problems on defense are not because of Coach D and his scheme. This defense needs playmakers.

Now, I'd like to know how the defense has become the main focus after the FSU loss when it's our offense that should be questioned. So far I see that Fisch is missed and Coley is in over his head.

What's the story with this picture of Gibson? Was he on meds? Crying? What's the context?
 
What's a better question is, say if a huge school like Texas or USC or who ever wanted to look at Al and say All was interested, do they pass on Al because they know DNofrio is coming g with him or do they say we will take u but leave the douche def coord at Miami?

I don't know a lot of the context but I believe it was at a golden globes show and it was his reaction as he was listening to a speech. But, I found that it fit the second post's points pretty well.

You do realize that even if Donof didn't go with al, al would still be taking his defense with him. Right?
 
That right there just tells u if its the scheme Al is here forever. There isn't a big program out there that wants a soft scheme, u have to attack. If its the scheme we got nothing to worry about. We have a life coach
 
It was Golden globes where i believe it was jodie foster giving a victory speech. She made special thanks to Mel for being great friend and helping her get her career going. This was the time when Jews were trying to blacklist Mel from hollywood and he had no friends

Dorito will be here next year unless we lose 100-0 in the remaining games we have. We might lose by 30 against fsu again but no one else on the schedule should really abuse us
 
Dorito is Golden's boy. He's not going anywhere. They played together and have coached together for 9 years.

Golden also ran a very similar defense at UVA when he was DC'ing there. This is what we are.
 
We should start nominating him to every school who is looking for HC. I know he is not getting fired by Golden, Golden would rather resign and take another job than fire him. Trust one by mid season next year the voices are gonna get louder about his philosophy of tough softness

Before making blanketing statements about the offense not being better under coley than fisch can you do research?

We are average 18 more yards a game and through 8 games our average yards per play is up to 7.05 from 6.46.
We are 200 rushing yards away from eclipsing our total rushing output last season.
We are 1,500 pass yards away from eclipsing last year total. Which if you remember Morris' hot streak over the last 4 games of last season his numbers were pretty close at this point last season.

3rd down conversion last year was 39.41%
3rd down this year 40.21%

Last year our redzone TD% was 51.92%
this year our redzone TD% is 64.10%


So as you can see that in some areas we have greatly improved. The area we have not improved in 3rd down. Which tells me that we are not a good 1st and 2nd down team. And also that 1 common denominator is Stephen Morris who last year completed 58% of his passes and this year he's at 59%. Last year he wasn't injured. Which means that even though he is playing hurt, this is who SteMo is. at best 60% completion passer. So I don't think it's a lack of Coaching by Fisch or Coley but the QB they have limits the offense.
 
Whether or not D'Onofrio gets another job is irrelevant. Golden will get someone else to run the scheme he wants. I don't understand how people still haven't grasped that this is Golden's defense.
