We’ve been going head to head for quite a few kids these past two cycles…

I’m sure Venerables looks down on us as during his Clemson time they steam rolled us… nothing has been easy for him and the stress of getting steam rolled himself by their biggest rival (Texas) isn’t making this off-season easy on him I’d reckon

Our schedule last year was weak
a half decent offense and we beat unc Texas am and duke
Fsu was decent but nothing unbeatable
Pitt was avg
It was a really easy schedule

Our schedule was weak? I mean if you had Alabamas or UGA's roster.

Clemson won 11
FSU won 10
Pittsburgh won 9
Duke won 9
UNC won 9
Texas A&M was dysfunctional, but still a talented team that got embarrassed week prior to Miami

We were trotting out Jacurri Brown and Lucious Stanley in numerous conference games.

With the injuries I would say 7-5 was the ceiling on last years team, and yes Mario did a poor job with staff, etc.in year 1
