But back doing what in 4 weeks? I broke my thumb playing flag football and it ultimately required surgery. This was many, many years ago but it limited me for a long time (can't remember exactly) from even lifting weights, as I was simply unable to adequately grip a dumbbell, for example. I recall it being exacerbating how slow the recovery was. (You get a lot less blood flow into your digits so recovery is slow in comparison to the nature of the injury.)I dunno, I had pins put in one of my fingers and I was back in 4 weeks. Depends on how motivated you are to get back into the game. When they cut your finger open and part of the bone falls out.. you probably shouldn't have played the last three games of the tournament with it like that. I took my pt seriously.. a lot more than some of the other guys that were in there for the same injury. fsu will probably tell him to take his time tho lol
I can't imagine how a QB comes back from that in less than 4-6 weeks when the injury is to the throwing hand. It's not like he was accurate when he was healthy! LOL.
