If we didn’t pursue and find out later he would have considered, y’all be mad about that.
I don't understand what you are trying to say

Just that you have to persue even if it’s a long shot.I don't understand what you are trying to say
100 % right and very well put.Get used to this until/unless we get out of the ACC. This is a dead league. The players know it, the P2 coaches know it, recruits parents, HS coaches, agents, etc. It’s absolutely over for anything and anyone outside the P2.
Wanna know who has the highest ranked recruiting class this year of any team (except ND who is 13th) that’s NOT in the P2??
The Miami Hurricanes.
I’m not gonna say 15 is the ceiling, because it’s not. But this **** isn’t a fluke. It’s not a coincidence that every single composite 5-star player signed with a B1G or SEC school. That’s where the money is. That’s where the support is. That’s where a larger majority of the good players are. That’s where the NFL is looking. That’s where the committee is looking. You wanna get paid the best, play against the best, and play for a championship? Then you don’t wanna be in the ACC.
I’ve said it for at least 3 years now on this board. It. Is. Over. For. The. ACC.
The league is a morgue. Every minute we’re still in this league is another minute staying behind. And I really hope I’m not ****ing in anyone’s cheerios here (I shouldn’t be because this is literal common sense and it’s been put up in lights for years), if you think these conferences are essentially full and we’ll never get into the P2, then you need to reset expectations globally. This is how a 2nd rate program is always will be. The difference in the leagues is that stark.

Bringing Rad on whilst knowing this is where the game was headed gives me pause that the administration has any roadmap or vision.100 % right and very well put.
This administration needs to do anything and everything in their power to get out of the ACC and into one of the big 2.
The football program “life” depends on it.
The downward trend of the other conferences will only continue accelerate with each passing season.
I just pray the powers that be are serious about getting off this sinking ship and they aren’t just content being a basketball school with a mid tier football program and hope they have the ability to get the deal done.
And the move should be to the Big 10. There’s too many natural rivalries there and we can generate so much more money for them than any team in the country who wasn’t a Big 10 original.Get used to this until/unless we get out of the ACC. This is a dead league. The players know it, the P2 coaches know it, recruits parents, HS coaches, agents, etc. It’s absolutely over for anything and anyone outside the P2.

This is Mario's true calling card. Yea, he'll get a surprise top 150 kid that no one saw coming but he will chase the top ranked recruits to the end of the earth and still fail to land them.Like ive stated before there was an article when this kid was like a soph going to his jr year and he stated LSU was his dream school. This wasnt an lsu sit article this was like an article from a tampa area blog or paper so it wasnt any bias involved.
He never was a um fan like that growing up...his uncle played for um and his cousin currently does..but he also has an uncle that played at Ohio state. So legacy wise he couldve went to both.
Im just mad that um chased both he and Ben hanks around who were long shots the whole time and couldve had some other beast dbs and a wider net if they wanted an eliute s or elite elite cb in the class
No doubt. We did flip a 5️ DT from OSU last year in Justin Scott. That was a big big win
we missed on Dylan stewart too.No doubt.
We also go Jo Jo Trader.
I am talking about the elusive, Pat Surtain level CB. The Jeremiah Smith level WR. We miss on those guys.
What do you mean ? Is he burt too ? That’s I took this he’s hurt and if he wasn’t he might have been flippednot true people still tried to flip him. Amari Wallace is another story.
he's hurt but people tried to flip him. Mario had to fight for him. What do you mean ? Is he burt too ? That’s I took this he’s hurt and if he wasn’t he might have been flipped
Tyhe's hurt but people tried to flip him. Mario had to fight for him.
I wouldn’t doubt that Mario had to fight for everyone, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The sharks were likely out as there was blood in the water.he's hurt but people tried to flip him. Mario had to fight for him.
I totally agree about the NIL negating Mario's biggest strength (have posted about that several times including early in his tenure) and I am not defending him at all, rather pointing out that for some reason pretty much every coaching regime has struggled with CB recruiting and that in most cases it wasn't they couldnt find interested CBs but rather we were in it (or at least thought we were) with top end CBs only to be left blowing in the wind on signing day. This is Mario reading his press clippings about being some “recruiting servant”…he thinks he can flip everyone and loses out on other great players trying to show how great a recruiter he is…NIL has taken any advantage away that Mario might have ever had. It’s all about the money now and whose got the biggest bags now and when it comes to the best of the best we lag behind the big boys….
Just like last season when they got Justin Scott, JoJo Trader and Zaquan Patterson and the year before when they got Francis Maugoa, Pancake Honcho, and Rueben Bain. This is Mario's true calling card. Yea, he'll get a surprise top 150 kid that no one saw coming but he will chase the top ranked recruits to the end of the earth and still fail to land them.
Stop. Mopes will always say stuff without doing the research. LOLJust like last season when they got Justin Scott, JoJo Trader and Zaquan Patterson and the year before when they got Francis Maugoa, Pancake Honcho, and Rueben Bain.
Well in his defense, cajun food blows out all other food. Nothing like it.btw, not only can't are DC coach or recruit, he literally craps on miami in press conferences talking about how great cajun country and food is. idiot builds up Louisiana when he should be like I love Miami, im glad I left that **** hole.
Ok, now who did we miss out on with a big emphasis on the defense?Just like last season when they got Justin Scott, JoJo Trader and Zaquan Patterson and the year before when they got Francis Maugoa, Pancake Honcho, and Rueben Bain.
