Dawson is opposite. they will say "you guys had a great game" and he says well, and start running through things we have to improve. Guidry talks down to the reporters. hes the idiot that will play Jaden and kiko just to prove he's right .

People forget that everyone wanted Butch’s head hanging behind those banner planes at one point. I already said that I am now in the “doubtful but hopeful” category on Mario after being a homer. But let’s not act like top 10 classes, 10 win seasons, #1 offenses, and Heisman contending QBs has been the norm around San Amaro drive in the last 20 years. He is well within his allotted time to continue to progress. The issue is, he’s set the bar pretty high to now claim progress next year (11-12) wins.

We have to continue to stack talent through HS recruiting and supplementing weak points through the portal.

This year that’s probably true. They went all in on this year and spent more than they planned. minimum expectations were an ACC title game appearance.

That didn’t happen, now those boosters are going back to whatever that regular budgeted number was…maybe a little less because all that money they just spent didn’t get them the bare minimum ROI that everyone needed for this year.

Now if they somehow get in as the 12 seed over Bama or USCe and win a game or 2, that changes things. But that’s got a 1% chance of Miami even getting in

That’s not what my sources are saying. Same money is there. Great NIL program.

I haven’t forgotten anything. Butch ran things totally different than Mario and had no resources like this.

After blowing their wad this year for an ACC Title and seeing less than adequate product on the field, expect the collective to experience a reduction in donations.

That defense is far less than adequate for a recruit. They see the product stunk since conference play began. They see the lack of veteran player development, communication problems on the field, blown assignments, and inability to adapt scheme in-game or during the season.

The 2024 Miami defense was historically inept and unacceptably horrid for any G4 program.

I'd love to play for a coach like Dawson, honest to god. Seems to be an overall great dude, supportive, but relaxed.

The bigger thing for Mario/Miami, is to hire good to great coordinators. There would be no greater return on investment than this, but we all know Mario gonna Mario

Even getting a DC that's equivalent to Dawson on offense would be a huge W at this point. Crib already noted changes on defense are expected, just need it to happen quicker than the usual slow as molasses MC time-line
