Because Pickett and his family know the game, and they know Miami’s coaches know the game. So they understand it’s not personal, it’s just business.

Kid has all the leverage in the world right now, he will and should use it to his advantage… there are no “feelings” involved except with the fans.

Yesterday a dude that’s 3 time zones away said he was locked in to USC flipped a few hrs later.

Saying that we have no shot with a dude who’s in state and has his cousin on the team is some serious doom and gloom.

I would be heavily involved too, but I wouldn’t be doing interviews with these weasel *** recruiting sites.

Don’t think I would be either. But I will never talk down for a parent who provided for their kids and gave them a chance at a world where other parents don’t take any time to do the extras.

I remember being heavily recruited at 8 years old for a traveling soccer team associated with the youth national team.

Parents said no because they both worked and didn’t want to compromise their comfortable lifestyle.

It absolutely does. But recruiting hasn’t exact been a problem since Mario got here. Has he gotten everyone? Nobody does.
But we’ve been out recruiting our record since he got here by a mile.

I agree. Mario has done a tremendous job recruiting since he got here. I’m just skeptical of local kids flipping. This year should help in that regard but I’m so damaged as a fan I need to see it to believe it.
