Anytime you have an opinion on a kid it’s always gonna be “well I trust the staff over you” “I’ll go with the staff’s opinion”. It’s so frowned upon on this board. And for reference I’m not very high on Wilson... I think he’s a take before Huggins though

Lol...multiple championships...7 years as a DC...how many Bama DB's can you name off the top of your head that are in the NFL right now

So what are you saying that only average DB's are needed to win NC's? Take the best that we can get. I don't mind taking this kid instead of Jobe at all. I have always said a team with great linemen wins championships though.

No...The point of my post was in reply to Mr Dynasty inferring that Miami is making a bad decision by not being interested in someone that Kirby Smart wants. I'm pretty much saying that just because Smart has coached championship winning DEFENSES, doesn't mean he is a step above the rest when it comes to evaluating DB's, so using an UGA offer as a reason to say he is good enough for a Miami offer over current targets/commits doesn't hold any merit.

I'd say Smart's opinion is a pretty valuable way to evaluate DB's.

Wasn't there something with the administration controlling him? Like maybe they wouldn't let him be OC and the OC wanted certain players? All I know for sure is that UGA fans on reddit are mad that Richt is finally recruiting good dual threat guys.

You’re a beta corch who is lazy if you offer a kid only because some top program offered him. Do your own work and come to your own conclusions based upon your own evaluation. Copying someone won’t work.

Ignored? That's why we just signed Williams. Been talking to him the whole time. But we are talking about DB's here and this might be the best DB class UM has ever signed and you guys talking about this Wilson kid. You can't make this **** up.

I get the feeling we are considering this the greatest DB class because we're all counting men like Campbell and girls like Jobe as part of the class. Right now, it's a good class in reality because there are still local top dogs who are not committed--Campbell, Surtain and Jobe. Sign the uncommitted blue-chippers from South FL, and it'll be the best.

They fired him because he had plateaued. He did it repeatedly, before Saban and during Saban. He would be good for a year or two in the second half of his career there and then have a couple of bad years. Even when he seemed he would break through, the inexcusable would happen.

He was there too long IMO. He got complacent, used to the same routines, and hopefully he's reinvigorated being the head coach of his alma mater. Very disappointing end to our season no matter what excuse we claim. Pitt was an abortion and Clemson, while I didn't expect a win, we were dominated.
