Actually, I rooted for the Canes all through the Jimmy Johnson era, and during those years I had the distinct impression that he let up quite a number of times. His team did beat Notre Dame 58 - 7 on November 30, 1985. The TV announcers freaked because it was against the Holy U, but actually, that 58 points was the second largest total that any of Jimmy's teams ever ran up (once they scored 61). If you don't think they could have scored more than 61 a number of times, then you just weren't there. During those years, a number of the other top teams were scoring some bigger totals than UM was.

I'm fine with the 2s led by Williams play from whenever Morris and company need to chill. No reason to have crow and the walk ons playing unless it's SSU. And don't feed me that in game experience crap Williams should soak all that up since next year will be his only year to shine alone it seems

I had Fresno -10 for the game and -9.5 second half. Fresno came out and scored 21 points in the 3rd quarter then completely imploded. Ints, fumbles. It wasn't necessarily what Hawaii did, it was more like what Fresno did and didn't do. Tons of turnovers on Fresno's behalf.
