Hasn't committed. Stated that he's going to at the Under Armor All Star game.

LSU is in a position where they can take a risk like this. Bain didn't do jack crap on the dline in high school, but that kid is as good of a physical specimen as you'll find. If you can somehow get the light to turn on, you'll have an All American. If not, you're plenty deep and the kid will probably transfer once it's clear he'll never play.

Briscoe dominated at the highest level of high school football in Louisiana. Arguably the best man on the field in the state title game against West Monroe. Bain talked about dominating during the summer; his high school coaches moved his dominating behind to OL during the season where he was pedestrian. I see him playing at Marshall - maybe.

After typing that, the parallels between Bain and Jacoby Briscoe are uncanny.

Don't care either way

LSU knows DL talent....don't see why they would take a kid that doesn't even play the position in high school.

LSU isn't the authority or validation on DL talent. They have their fair share of busts. Bain is a high risk, high reward guy and is worth a shot, but he's as likely to be Chaz Washington as he is to be ________ (insert successful LSU DT here).

LSU is in a position to take a player like Bain...they can bring him in, let him develop and see what they get out of him by his fourth or fifth season.
