Diaz talks team, Martell, and spring game on Thursday

Like the approach Manny is using. He’s certainly saying all the right things. However, not feeling us using the IPF majority of the time. The heat is what made us and gave us a distinct advantage. I thought the IPF was going to be used when it was extreme heat or lightning. Old school mentality, I guess.

Nah, it was said that Greentree is being worked on. Don’t sweat the small stuff, and keep in mind even if they’re in the IPF, they can turn off the AC, open the doors, and turn on some fans to keep air moving.

“I think what we’ve been trying to accomplish over the past month is a bit of a retool and a reboot of our support staff, certainly a restructure of our recruiting department which is what I had in mind. I thought we had a good recruiting staff, guys that were good workers, but we wanted to revise how our recruiting staff was organized.”
Sounds like he reads this board.

It's March practice. I don't think it matters where they practice for 15 practices. What counts is fall camp, which looks like it will start at the end of July now. A full summer and then fall camp out on Greentree should do it....

Props to the ~10% of posters here who actually bothered to watch and evaluate Zion Nelson. The remaining porsters just used it as an opportunity to expose themselves as whiny ignorant clowns, but that's none of my business. "2*, offer sheet, App State, decommits"...yawn.

And let me stop the idiots who lack reading comprehension preemptively - no I'm not making definitive statements on the kid's career. I'm pointing out that the kid has important traits/critical factors like toughness, physicality and movement skills that absolutely warrant a spot to develop on this roster.

with the curb out of bounds, that's how my brothers and i played back in the day, watch out for the mail boxes

Side line pop baby, Street Ball, but if u dare try to step out of bounds/curb, u were subject to getting popped on to the neighbors side walk or lawn (if u were fortunate). Lol. Good ole days. Kids don’t know chit about that anymore.

We should be practicing on I-95 in the middle of oncoming traffic at rush hour.

That'll toughen us up! Lol

Using cars as tackling dummies. The opposing teams won’t know what hit them. Lol. But we’ll have to change our t-shirts from “U Tough” to “U Scared?” Lol.

Why do you say that? Have you watch him play a lot?

No and I know little to nothing about offensive lines, but I get a really good feeling about him. Lanky, athletic looking tackle with underrated strength, looks like he's got long arms too. He plays real football, against decent teams in South Carolina, and he's already getting praise from Manny after mat drills which is a nice little sign.

Something about him just screams "Diamond in the rough" to me, especially compared to our other reaches like Adam El Gammal, Tre Johnson, Brendan Loftus. He looks more Njoku than Polendey.

Thanks for the writeup! Love what Diaz had to say about Stroud. Manny is a first year head coach and he's brought in Enos, a former head coach himself, and Stroud, an extremely experienced vet. We have a great mix of young, hungry coaches and seasoned vets on this coaching staff and that's a big plus relative to Richt's staff.
