That other coach's recruits are the guys he has primarily relied upon to build a very good defense.I don't count the first season with another coaches recruits. Diaz didn't either.

Diaz and Barry’s hesitance/reluctance to move Scaife to a OT position is a sign that the inside combo of Scaife, Gaynor and Donaldson is creating running lanes up the middle and between tackles especially. He is smart enough to continue giving the team’s OTs all the reps they can handle all the way up until game day when he can turn to a trusted Scaife if need be. Of course, he isn’t telling the OTs this, he wants them to own this opportunity and rise to the occasion. There is no safety net. It’s Campbell’s time, he stalemated several dlinemen during Big Cane as he has been targeted by Feeley and Diaz to make a big jump in development. I think he responds to this **** Week bump up the depth chart.
Deejay, Cam, Burns and Lingard are going run all over the gaytors if that interior lineup plays this first game.

Completion percentage means little if it's not moving the chains. You can complete 100% of your passes and it won't matter if they don't move the chains. Here's hoping that number wasn't what we will see during the season from our O. As for our D, I hope that's exactly what we see.I agree somewhat, but the other number was barely 50% so there has been some improvement.
Bingo Big games (1st games especially) under the lights, heated rivalry with the entire football nation watching calls for a solid run game up the middle and stout defense. Takes pressure off our inexperienced QBs who are struggling with their accuracy. Once we gash them in the first half, the starting QB will be beaming with confidence then Jeff Thomas and Pope are taking Marc *** Wilson and BJ Henderson into the deep water for a baptism play action style.I honestly think they have a top notch inside 3 with Donaldson Gaynor and Scaife and don't want to wreck that by moving one or more to tackle. It's a different take than in previous seasons where the coaches would just play their best linemen at tackle and go with whatever else available at guard. What we might lose in pass protection we could gain in run blocking. It's been a while since we could really line up and run the ball at other teams, especially inside. It would be nice if our offensive line could not just get shoved into the backfield by opposing DTs also. Strong up the middle, gameplan to help on the edges if need be.
