Diaz admits it has been difficult at times for him and the rest of Miami's assistants to sell local recruits on the vision of staying home and playing for championships, but things are starting to change especially after the Hurricanes' 10-3 season which featured huge wins over both Notre Dame and Virginia Tech at a sold-out Hard Rock Stadium.

"It's easy to sign when you are already winning championships, but to be the guy that has the invested interest to make their hometown team great again is something that we'll look back on with more respect in the future."

Kool leaving town is a step in the right direction. Rumph gets one more class, if he can't land the best in S Fl then he has to go as well.

Silly post. As long as he keeps developing our corners the way he is, he will be fine. The CB recruits will come in time. Get guys like MJ and Dean drafted fairly high and they will come.

Defensive staff has a bunch of good "coaches" but leave much to be desired crooting besides Banda...

Guess well see what Patke and Simpson got these next two cycles... Like another poster said this is Rumphs last chance before he should get a nudge to look around for job openings

1 4star at his position the last 2 cycles yet he’s considered a “good “ recruiter LOL... but yet rumph with 5 4star recruits at his position and helped with 2 other 4stars is labeled as such a terrible recruiter. People funny on here man

And yet on offense, we kept Pope home, Scaife, C. Davis, Wiggins ... and we attracted Big Time kids from outside of So Fla with major offers to come to UM such as Lingard, Jordan, Williams, Mallory, Hightower....

Luz at you suggesting Banda did all the work recruiting the cbs while rumph just sat on his hands the whole time. Banda is an overhyped recruiter imo: the defensive staff recruiting ability lags behind offense and personally I mean We will see with jess Simpson and patke hires but not really sure how they will help close that gap. Hopefully they will be able to...

It is imperative that we stop Georgia and Alabama from taking our top ranked recruits from SFL on offense and defense. I expect MJack an Jaquan to possibly have AA seasons this year. They will both be so much more NFL ready next year for having stayed this one.

He's over hyped because I called him "good" I didn't say he was an ACE/Stud/difference maker/sell a ketchup Popsicle to a women in white gloves...

Dude is a good recruiter who puts in work on a defensive staff that doesn't seem to like to leave their meetings rooms
