Jarren playing was the egregious and unconscionable mistake of Shanny. He should have had an MRI immediately after that death blow from mighty cmu. I can guarantee his shoulder was in no shape to trot him out there. That’s a fireable offense with cause in my book.

I agree that the ultimate responsibility is on the shoulders of the head coach. He obviously badly mismanaged Jarren's situation. But I still think the player also has responsibility to report to the coaches he is not feeling 100%. Now to be fair to Jarren, we don't know if he had but still was put in this situation.
 
The future is right now. As long as Perry keeps notching W's he's going to get the nod. UM needs some momentum to sell this program to recruits who are getting antsy, Diaz knows this. The QB has to produce more than stats, he needs to engineer W's. N'Kosi can put a lot of pressure on Diaz by continuing to win. Manny won't commit to N'Kosi because he doesn't trust him.

And, what about those two game clinching drives, late in the fourth quarter? Boy, it was PRESSURE TIME and both the offense and Perry came through WHEN IT MATTERED MOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dUh.

Seriously though, I sure nough' don't know the MAJORITY of Cane fans have against the free spirit Perry.

Both Manny and Danny, along with JW, had the most say so regarding playing a QB with a bum shoulder. Of course, the sports medical staff went along with playing JW.

Yeah, JW was MOLESTED in that particular game. I mean bloody MOLESTED! OUCH. When I witnessed JW taking 3 or 4 TKO type of shots, I absolutely knew he was playing with true grit and what not. Nonetheless that just indicates how much Manny and Oh Danny Boy didn't have any faith and trust in # 5. Go figure. Now the two of them are singing a different tune about # 5. SMH
