Diaz has a tough decision. My guess is Jarren based on scrimmage performance and talent. The question is whether he has earned the trust of the coaches in terms of maturity.

Jameis Winston wasn’t mature but he won FSU a championship. Time to put the best players on the field.

Are we talking maturity as a kid who doesn’t go to class, watch film, workout or maturity as in he is out chasing hoes and partying?

There is a big difference between the two.

It's not surprising for Jarren to take the next step under Enos. He's our best passer and has the most upside because of his ceiling and fit in Enos' offense. It looks like his game is catching up to his arm talent. If the reports are accurate and Jarren gets the job, JT, KJ and the TEs should be celebrating.
It does seem as if Jarren has been steadily improving from Spring to Fall. And even this fall camp as practices have went on we've heard more and more positive things. Let's get him as many reps as possible and go beat UF on 8/24.

Wasn't there yesterday. Spoke to someone who was there.

Jarren was by far the best QB. Had the TD throw to Mallory and a would-be TD that was dropped by Pope. Deejay and Harley had good days. Garvin, Hill and Rousseau are top-shelf, and Patchan has made an impact. Tate threw the two picks (not Kosi, Ferman had that wrong). Both guys struggled, though. Couch had a pick and is very impressive. I was also told that Hunte has a ton of upside.

Everybody is placing trust on the coaches for all the right reasons. But, who do the players believe has earned the job?

If JW has been the best (in the eyes of the players) and you select either Kosi or Tate, then you run the risk of losing some of the players with a decision they might view as controversial.

Tough call.

Jameis was reliable in terms of football, on and off the field. Maturity is an important part of the QB position. It's a tough call for them.

I don’t think they can truly trust any of the 3 when it comes to turning the ball over and this has to cause a lot of hesitation when trying to decide who will start.

Would they let Jarren start his first game in nationally televised game against a rival like Florida though? Remember what happen to Kayaa his 1st start against Louisville? It's risky.

Context is important when comes to Jameis. He immature *off* the field, on the field he was all busy. Also, when you have supreme talent like Jameis has it can override a lot wrongs.

I trust Enos (and Diaz) a lot more than any staff in recent memory at Miami to make the right decision.

I thought Williams looked really good in HS and thought he could be a good one here.

I wasn't happy that he never got a shot to see the field last year, thanks to the Wreckeds, to say the least.

Jarren Williams can be speical. He’s the guy of the 3 you’d hate to lose the most. The other 2 have no chance at playing at the next level & you kinda know what they are already. Jarren with his size & arm strength has the highest upside.
Couldnt agree more with this statement
