Only if he had a direct shot, and the ball carrier was helpless. That's honestly the only times I saw him make a big hit. They were few and far between, that's for sure. He could hit hard, but man was it ever rare that he was in position to do so.

As long as the hardest hitter is making tackles, wrapping up, I don't care how hard the man hits.

Monthly reminder that Camden Price was 6-7 on FGs last year. :) I'm sure the haters will neglect to mention that David Feeley is decent at his job and could probably squeeze a few more yards out of Price if given the chance. I get that psychologically, Borregales brings a ton to the team, and his brother. But Price was given a scholly last Spring AFTER Borregales the Older committed to transferring to us, and Borregales did great from beyond 40 last year with a pedestrian 15-22 (68%) outside of the 6-7 from beyond 40. Point being, our minds were made up after Baxa and Davidson screwed the pooch, not allowing Price his fare due.

I think the issue with Price is he can’t kick beyond 30 yards

Like @KrazyCane said he never attempted anything outside of 30 yards.

And this is d1 football I think we have to raise the bar a little bit and not be surprised when we hit fgs

He was dealing with a lot of stuff with his family & wasn't completely checked in mentally.

It would've been nice if he came back from a Depth standpoint, but ultimately he would've been a liability on the field because he just couldn't be fully focused on the task at hand.

I wish him the best, but those reps he would've got will hopefully go to one of the young pups, it's time we start developing these younger corners.

I wish Bandy birthing but the best. True Cane. But Couch will he just fine in that role. I’m more worried about Ivey and his judgment. If he has taken that next step, then CB won’t be a liability and could end up looking pretty respectable. But we need him to be more than a Greentree AA.

I’ll admit I wanted Perry off the team after his money and **** videos. Not going to lie. Thought he was a goof and incapable of leading this team. I still question if he has the ability to process the game fast enough to be a great QB.

But in terms of being a Cane, that young man has completely redeemed himself. We can be frustrated a kid like Jeff Thomas never learned from his mistakes. But Perry is living proof that you got to try to give kids another chance because they can and often do grow into honorable and responsible men.

I really hope he shines when he gets his reps. What a story that would be.

Perryman was the only LB we’ve had in recent years that made me actually scared for the opposing ball carrier. Maybe Eddie Johnson before that.
 
N’Kosi has had a really good year in all aspects of his life,” Diaz said. “Even before the whole pandemic hit, just his accountability, everything in our program, he’s been the best he’s been since he’s been here, really solid. And he’s done a really nice job when he’s quarterbacking. N’Kosi has played in a lot of games, done a lot of nice things on the field. A lot of the things we’re doing in the offense fits his skill set, making plays with his arms and feet. N’Kosi is continuing to mature, is just going on that curve and it’s been fun to watch him continue to develop.”

Good job Kosi.
Now continue to work hard and you may be our starter in 2021 and 2022.

Not everyone's destined to be a star. He's lucky to be here based on his inability to throw a pass and his lack of movement skills.

That La Tech appearance gave me Kirby Freeman flashbacks. He couldn't even juke or run away from a defensive lineman, and he looked like a Pop Warner QB trying to throw the football.
