He gone. The staff need to move on.
While the coaches continue pushing hard, Lopez says Jobe “knows in his heart what he wants to do.”
He adds that “Miami did a lot in being there for him as he was growing up, but as they get older they look at other opportunities.”
Lopez says Jobe knows where he’ll attend college but will likely take a couple of visits in January … assuming Alabama doesn’t convince him to sign early when Jobe takes his official visit there this weekend. Jobe’s family is flying in to meet him in Tuscaloosa.
Lopez says for now those visits will be to Michigan and Ohio State, which has become a recent player in this.
A Miami official visit? Lopez says that may not be in the cards.
“He wants to check Michigan out, take that official, the Alabama official, Ohio State,” Lopez said. “He wants to see the big scope of things, see what school is the best fit.”
What about a Cane official visit?
“I don’t know if that will happen, visiting there officially,” Lopez said. “It hasn’t been brought up.”
