We have the money to double the recruiting budget, but the school administration doesn't believe in allocating funds to the football program.

It's not that we don't have money or can't afford it as a program, it's that the people at the top responsible for dispersing the money don't care about nor even like Football, so we get shafted every year because Miami as a school are a bunch of cheap ******** that are running a legal Ponzi scheme.

We'll never have the kind of money that Texas, TAMU, Bama, LSU, UGA etc, are spending on recruiting, but even Nebraska spends $1.25 mill a year in recruiting budget, we don't even crack $500K.

I can’t understand why people keep saying we’re broke. They just don’t want to spend money on the football program.

Sad but I believe you. A few months ago I attended a fundraiser for Georgia Tech athletics (I live in Atlanta and was with a friend).
After the media left the AD broke out the stats and showed how much less that GTech spends on athletics relative to Georgia, Auburn and Clemson, and where GTech ranks with the ACC.
First, Clemson was far ahead of every other school in the ACC.
Second, Clemson was the only ACC school with a urgent similar to Georgia.

He's the best defensive player in South Florida. We should make him fit.
He was the most productive Defensive player in south Florida. I don’t like him over Chantz Williams, Roberts or quinten Williams in our system..I view wingo as a 3-4 rush end not a standup LB

He did the same thing Ryan Shazier did in high school. Shazier was a DE at Plantation, but he was the most explosive defensive player in Broward. He was signed by Ohio State and played LB.

Wingo is the most explosive defensive player down here. We need to be recruiting kids like this, **** a system. And if your system won't allow you sign the best players from South Florida then reevaluate your system.
Goes along with the same a$$ backwards train of thought we have with offensive recruiting. (not recruiting kids like Tutu Atwell cause he doesn't "fit our system")

This is one of the reasons we've lacked overall athleticism on both sides of the ball FOR YEARS. We've been recruiting guys for systems instead of recruiting South Florida's best athletes/players and finding them a spot.
