DeVante Parker injured?

"I have similar feelings. Just today, I saw the extended weather forecast with next weekend temps going to around 80, and all I could think about was the opener on Monday night. Like a kid at Christmas. Now, while still excited to some degree, I feel like I just found out all over again that Santa isn't real. Christmas takes on a whole new outlook. Selfish thinking on my part. Man, just think how DP feels. Keep your thoughts up Devante. It'll all work out. "

Lmao that's from Louisville board god **** those mother****ers are weird

"Not downplaying it all. Devante is the best player, however you build depth for these, very unfortunate injuries. The Cards will march on to the playoffs."

Holy ****

I'm so hyped for September 1 canes football can't come back soon enough

kinda reminds me of the peter warrick injury where we insisted on playing FSU at full strength, but secretly were thrilled we didn't have to deal with him.

Some of you should cease being idiotic. When a kid gets hurt ....football is no longer important. We watch for the love of the game ...for the unbridled enthusiasm these kids bring. I hope to Heaven on high that he is okay. I want to see both teams at full strength. Yeah, they bragged about beating us while we had no Duke and a gimpy QB while Gaines behaved like a clown. We don't have to do that. For everything that they are trying to achieve ...our reply is "Been There ! Done that ! Got a T-Shirt ! " . No reason to resort to hoots of joy because some kid's dream of the NFL may be in danger.

That truly sucks for the young man as a I hate to see anyone get hurt. As for the media and UL spinning a UM victory(if we win), ***** them all. Not only were we without Duke in the RAB, the offense was a walking MASH unit. Scott was hurt as well as Waters, Dorsett and Lewis. Even Coley was a little banged up.

Our own fans didn't give a **** when our best players were out. When all is said and done Nobody looks at the roster and discounts wins and losses based on injuries.

BINGO

Has to help, losing their best receivers. Need to get this win badly so the season doesn't go down the tubes after the 1st game.

Sucks for Parker but football is next man up. Everybody has to do it.

I do hope he gets healthy by year's end though because he's a beast and would look great in Jets green next year.

Going to see Dr. Robert Anderson I assume. Live in Charlotte, and he is the world renown foot and ankle guy like Dr. Andrews is for pitchers.

Same Doc who did Jeter's ankle surgery 2 years ago FYI.

He is, according to:

U of L Release...

University of Louisville senior wide receiver Devante Parker suffered a left foot injury at practice Friday night at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

Parker has been evaluated by UofL team physicians and will visit Dr. Bob Anderson in Charlotte, N.C., in the next couple days for further evaluation and management.

The 6-foot-3 wide out from Louisville, Ky., totaled 55 receptions for a team-high 885 yards and tied a school record with 12 touchdowns last season.

The Cardinals are scheduled to face Miami on Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

Guess what? This might sound mean or apathetic. But I don't give a flying you know what that he's out. They didn't care when Duke was out last year. Waters, Lewis and Dorsett nursing injuries. The injuries we had.

Now guess what? We are healthy. I expect a beat down on these little **** birds. Just watch. Can't ******* wait.

And lol at then trying to play it off. I know Quick could be a stud for them though. But the loss of Parker is devastating for them cause of a new QB and they have Dyer out right now too.

Watch, the excuses are gonna come flying in. I don't give a ****, I expected us to win before, now I expect us to win even more.

I only care about one DP. And he plays LB for the U.

Sucks that he got injured but it's part of the game. I don't want any excuse from them or the nation after we beat them!

But you know it will be used as an excuse by both them and the nation. If we win Sept. 1st you can bet we'll hear analysts repeat "beat an injury-depleted Louisville Cardinal team" over and over again to help explain why we aren't as good as our record indicates.

Nonsense. It'll never be mentioned. And even if it is who gives a fck as long as we get the W?
