The difference being #6 is a much better player, 2 years younger, and more versatile. I was under the impression that what we needed from Bond was to be a pass rushing threat that can come in and help immediately. With that size he would be a situational pass rusher at best. I was hoping for the 6'3 235 measurables Rivals had posted in his profile.BTW official size is 6'2 229 llbs. Coaches confirmed it on the visit.
With that being the case, I just dont care for the kid. I feel a second year McCord and possibly even Holiett would be just as effective.
I don't like Matthew Thomas either.
And what is wrong with that? Have you seen us trying to get off the field on 3rd down?
