He can still enroll and that's the main point. We don't want this kid going for a year away to prep. We want him on campus. We'd like him for this year but we don't need him. Next year though, he's going to help make our new qb starter look awfully good.

He needs to pass clearing house to play but not to enroll. He can enroll and go to school for a semester and be eleigble in the spring. This would be a real option especially if he is going to play hoops as well

Clearinghouse seems to have gotten a little bit softer the last couple of years. Hopefully they dont flag him.

UM's basketball team is really counting on him to contribute significantly this season. Rice said his GPA and ACT score have met requirements."

June 8 is the next date on which the ACT is given. Passing it is not a given, but the facts that his GPA is OK and that he apparently passed the high school exit test bode well for his prospects on the ACT. I sure hope he succeeds.
