This kid is a way better Safety than I thought he would be, kid has range and athleticism and is the kind of safety we have been missing for years. Hope he is OK after the huge hit he had last night, no way that was a personal fouls, simply a penalty because he hit the kid too hard. Love watching him come up in run support, he's like a heat seeking missle. Kid should be an animal next year after a year in U tough and off-season lifting.

The S position is going be super young again next year, but we are getting the talent infusion the position so desperately needed. Out with old, in with the new and let them learn on the job. I want to see more Jenkins going forward as well.

Bush makes next years' safety position solid, almost regardless of who is back there with him. Whether its a freshman, Jenkins, a SR like Highsmith, I feel good that the back line of defense is going to be ok for the next couple years. Kid is a STUD

I'd rather have the personal foul called and see these kids laying the wood out there than playing timid.

I'm not saying I want him to play off, simply stating it was a BS call. Kid led with his shoulder, great hit.

Remember when Bush was going to be a project at safety??? I'm glad everybody was wrong! :) It's still early in his career, but he sure as **** looks like he can handle walking in the footsteps of some of the badasses that have preceeded him at safety for The U. No, I'm not talking about Willie Cooper.

I was one that thought it was a mistake to play him at S, I'm glad I was worng. Kid is very physical for a true freshman.

Saban wanted Deon baaaaad.

Also... could you imagine a ref calling a person foul on Alabam's defense for a hit like that?
They crush dudes on a play to play basis (and rightfully so).
