Denzel Perryman Hit on DaVaris Daniels

I still think Miami should have won that game.

very true

If Dorsett doesn't drop that 1st TD pass that entire game changes...

You could easily argue that, if Dorsett doesn't have those big drops and Highsmith holds on to a surefire interception he dropped, that is a 14-0 or 17-0 game in our favor. Would we have held on? With our defense you cannot assume that. But to say it wouldn't have been closer is just dumb.

I agree. If we had scored more points and they had scored less, the game would have been closer.

All I said is if Dorsett catches that TD pass it's a different ballgame. I didn't say Miami should have won the game. Miami came out ready to roll and then things didn't go their way, on the road, and they caved against a solid team. If they got momentum going it would have been a closer game.

But you know it all's carry on with your WEZ style BS...

How the **** do you know that it would be a different ballgame, other than us having a score or two more on the board? Lu pointed out the relevant factors regarding why we lost. Those things most likely weren't changing whether Dorsett drops those passes or not and we still probably get our **** pushed in. We got completely and utterly dominated up front and for you to place such importance on those two dropped passes is laughable. Okay, so the score would have been 41-17 instead of 41-3. Maybe 41-21. Makes me feel a **** load better bruh.

180 pound WR tried to block a 225 pound LB and he was denied, big whoop. That's all we have to hang our head on in that game. What on earth makes you think we should have won? Lol.

this. the fact that we are showing highlights of that game, and some claiming we "should have won" are beyond ridiculous. it's pathetic.

but that's a leap of faith supported by nothing but pure speculation, and you pass it off as bordeline factual. how can you possibly know it would have been a different ballgame? all indications are that it would not have made any difference, as we were abused all day. we looked like a D1AA team playing a national title contender on homecoming. Any canes' fan that brings this game up is delusional, masochistic, or both.

ND was able to put Rudy in the backfield in the 4th and just fed him the ball as he ran it down our throats for a TD. That sums up how that game went for UM. We were never in that game.

This game is up there with 66-13 in the Carrier Dome

34-13 in the Superdome

29-0 in Sun Devil Stadium

ECU 31 Miami 6 at the OB

Just a pathetic night all around. We have a long ways to go. Golden needs time.

UVA 48-0 Final game at the OB?

If Dorsett makes that catch and scores a TD it's a different ballgame. That young *** team that was on the road doesn't put their head down and go in the tank. How much closer of a game I have no clue but maybe it wouldn't have been the blowout that it was.

So I don't give a **** how you or any other other know it all looking to argue clown feels about the outcome. What's with the few of you small brained group mentality types who act you know more than everyone else? Was ghetto life that bad that you're just angry at the world now? LOL!!!

Why don't you make an actual football argument instead of stomping your feet and crying like a baby? I used actual evidence of why we most likely would have still gotten our **** pushed in and you are offering conjectures about what COULD have happened based on NOTHING.

So if Dorsett makes the catch and scores the TD then it isn't a different game? And then he misses the next TD pass and the entire team starts looking like total **** and lost all interest and went in the tank and it became the blowout that it was.

So again, if Dorsett makes that first TD then it becomes a different ballgame. Does Miami win? No, probably not. Is it a closer game? Maybe... Is a closer game better than the blowout we all witnessed? Yes, it sure as fock is! I'll take a close game, against a team that played in the MNC, on the road over a blowout any day of the week and so would all of you if you were honest with yourselves and your beta asses weren't trying to act all alpha.

One other thing, as a cane fan I'll talk about any game I want to and don't give two shyts what you or any other beta thinks of it...

Picksix is right. Go up 14 or 17 and their offensive gameplan changes. Maybe they need to strt throwing more i strafing of mauling us. Maybe their defensive game plan needs to change and they need to start gambling instead of sitting back and taking away our deep threat and maybe we start running the ball on them making them come up to the line.
No doubt the whole game changes.

Don't forget the peach bowl loss 40-3 to LSU in '05. I was there and remember thinking when Matt Flynn was announced the starting quarterback that we had the game in the bag. Funny how even back then we make other teams JAG QB's look like heisman finalists.

supporting your opinion with another speculative assertion does not make the original assertion fact.

that "young ***" team got pushed around on both sides of the ball all day long, not bc they put their heads down. they got pushed around, bc they played a physically superior team with veteran players who were stronger and simply better. ****, our defense got pushed around virtually all year for the same reason, against lesser competition than ND. blaming it on them simply giving up is revisionist history.

and maybe you should re-read your own posts then consider the irony of this comment: "What's with the few of you small brained group mentality types who act you know more than everyone else?"

I thought i and others had answered your question repeatedly, but apparently it has not sunk in. Regardless of those two drops, ND would have manhandled our team. they were simply a better, more physical, and mature team, period. ****, crappy ACC teams that did not compare to ND last year ran all over our defense. we needed huge offensive outputs just to squeak by BC, NC St, Duke, among others.

Well, we didn't hold on to those passes, and we didn't hang on to that potential pick. We didn't make plays. They did. That's why we got our *** whipped, that's why we went 7-6 and that's why they played in the National Championship game.

If Dorsett doesn't drop that 1st TD pass that entire game changes...

There's nothing that changes how their lines, especially Oline, mauled our lines. At one point in the second half, our DL was getting launched 3-4 yards off the LOS. It was really tough to watch. I sat in that cold *** stadium just hoping for the clock to explode.

I was sitting next to Greg Mark in the end zone and he was amazed at the lack of talent we have on the DLine.

Hey, while we're at it, the 2012 Kansas State game was an absolute slaughter.

People: we're not in a position to contend for a national championship in 2013.
