Denzel and Duke...By any means necessary, lol

Love their enthusiasm and it's a shame they don't have more butts in the stands as they deserve more, but they were basically giving away seats last year to no avail.

Go out and win, more people will come out. People speak with their wallets and it's apparent people aren't pleased.

wonder why they do this on campus.

they should go out to Dolphin mall, the grove, or south beach and do this.

If they want to put people in the stands, win on Labor Day. Ticket sales will spike or not on the 2nd.

I called and discussed the 2 grand a ticket seats I will most likely buiy, and was getting the hard sell (which is BS, last year, 13 people were in our section that holds 200) and the U has called me every day since, leaving a message about how they are trying to save two seats in said section.

I am a nice guy, and didn't want to tell them "If we beat UL, I'm in, if not, I can watch garbage from the upper West End zone just as easy."

Kills me that i wont be able to catch a game this year, especially to watch and show my support towards these two. Prez and duke have been the anchors thru the storm, clouds and all that other bull****. I hope they ball the **** out and are able to go out on a high note. These two deserve it.

The stadium renovations will help in regards to attendance.

A lot of fans simply don't wanna pay $100 or more to sit in the hot Miami sun when they can watch the game in their air conditioned homes for free. With the new canopy they won't have to worry about the sun.

This might seem negligible to you diehards, but for the casual fan it could make a big difference.

They need one of these.....

What were Miami's attendance rates when they were great in the early 00's? Still not great, right?

2001 was bad, but 2002 was really good. Smallest crowd in 2002 was 52,000 for UConn. We had 68,000 for FAMU, 73,000 for BC, 81,000 for FSU, 64,000 for Pitt and 76,000 for VT.

The Miami heat barley got people in the stands on time, the hurricanes definitely won't. It's just a Miami thing. It's a lot of things to do down here other than go to the game

I remember going to the BC game in 2000, I believe, and was given the tickets for free (lower level). There were only about 40,000 in the stands.... We should have played in the Nat'l Championship that year, and we didn't fill the stands... 2001 had plenty of empty seats. Won it all...

Can't wait to move back to south florida and renew my season tickets! It's been 7 years!

I'm so sick of the "there are a lot of other things to do" excuse. It's bs. There are 6 games a year. You can do those other things 359 other days a year. There are also 6 million people living within 75 miles of the stadium, so that excuse, is, just that, an excuse.

THE U has a great opportunity this year. Heat are Lebronless, Fins are still stuck in suck mode. Go out and kick rear, come into criminole game undefeated and the stage will be set for explosion back onto the scene. We always had empty seats in crap games--this is not a backwater town filled with alum. But the opportunity to reclaim top of Miami sports is there right now. This town follows a winner better than any other town. Bring the pain and they will come. The players deserve a crowd. Heck, Duke deserves 60k all by himself, BUT whole team, especially the staff, must crank it up and give us the memories. Go Canes.

You're right, but sadly, the Louisville game will be the determining factor. That game will be a 20,000 fan swing. Win and we get good crowds for FAMU and Arky State. Lose that and we get 30,000 or less.
