Btw he was asked what will another school have to do to take him away from FsWho.




Anyone who thinks these high 4 and 5 star kids aren’t getting paid is just a plain idiot or naive.
Simple as that.

Willie playing that game. Man, like I've said millions of times before we're going to HAVE to be able to find good 3 star players if we plan on completing the way we want to.

IRS involvement is not required to nail individual players or programs. It is required to stop the bag game. Bag dropping effectively amounts to racketeering. The IRS can literally freeze the assets of the bag droppers, students, the pass-throughs or even the university (although very unlikely) at will. Come down on a few schools at the same time and the message will be loud and clear.

The issue is twofold. First, the IRS really isn't going to exert the resources to attack this. It's not worth it from a value standpoint for them. Second, this is all about connected people in small towns. It's part of the culture and they know how not to talk, or at least have good lawyers.

Odds will always be that the recipient of the bag is the one who will get busted, and it won't impact anyone else.

It would have to be the DOJ/FBI, just like college basketball. You're right IRS would never do it on its own.

Bribery, wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy are all charges they could nail the schools and boosters on
 
I saw this earlier but didn't realize it was Dent.

So many people gripe and moan about our staff and missing guys. Did any of you ever think that maybe, just maybe, they knew he was this type of dude and didn't want to play that game?

This coaching staff will not play dirty. They'll be tough, and shoot their shot. But the university, as an institution, will never allow another Nevin Shapiro.

There are bigger factors at play than simply "can we get him to commit?"

And anyone who thinks everybody is getting paid is a moron.

Top shelf, sure. The opportunity is always there.

But everyone? And this is directed at all the "bags" insiders on this board...c'mon.

I follow Loso and saw this other day and could only laugh. Dent is sp arrogant with it with a kool aid smile on his face smh. We don't di this and quite frankly the NCAA allows tjis so kids can be ****y because certain schools can literally get sesy with murder as long as it isn't too obvious
 
This is for all the people who think that bags arent involved.....these r the same people who think there wives aint bangin the dudes from the hood on the sneak tip.

See us aware cats know better we ahead of the pack so it cant happen to us.

**** I know a 3 star who went to Kansas years ago got bumped out the nba and he was getting cash and a new car and he wasnt even that good at all. I could imagine what top shelf kids get if thats what Jags get.
