Hard to find a role as an on field coach when you don’t actually coach. He is a hype man that’s it. It’s either a job with Mario or no job in college for him.

I’m sure every school has problems in recruiting one way or another. They are dealing with 16,17,18 year old kids begging them to come play a sport at their school. It’s got to be a miserable job honestly. Who wants to do that all year. Texting, calling kids at all hours acting like you care about their life, family, goals etc… over and over and over again. Dealing with all the drama that comes with it. It’s a terribly hard job and I’m sure things can get ugly at times when you got that much going on.

I’m sure lots of others schools have the same issues. We just don’t hear about it cause we aren’t on their message boards and follow them. Even the top schools got problems they just have less of them and cover them up better.

They don’t have insiders and local media who constantly air out the dirty laundry for the world to see. They protect their programs/coaches at all cost at the big schools like Bama, Georgia, OSU, Michigan was a full on cover up for Harbaugh
 
You can't tell me that Dennis Smith has cost us recruits. There is only one thing Mario cares about and that is recruiting. If this guy was costing us recruits Mario would have gotten rid of him by now.
