He's waiting for his SAT scores to see if he can get into Stanford if not Stanford, ND is the next after that who knows its fair game. His mom and him seem to be big on education took an official visit to Georiga tech two weeks ago instead of taking the Bama after. But he's not signing till he knows his score so like a few weeks till. Hope we get on the kid since he's big on education

Five-star WR Demetris Robertson won’t decide on signing day

Five-star wide receiver Demetris Robertson won’t sign on Wednesday’s signing day, reports Rivals.com’s Andrew Ivins.

According to Robertson’s brother and legal guardian Carlos, the star wideout will take an extra week or so to make his decision.

“We just want to take more time,” Carlos said. “He also wants to get [his SAT score], so we can take an official visit out to Stanford and see how that is before sitting down and making an informed decision.”

Carlos added that his brother, Scout.com’s 23rd-ranked wide receiver in the class of 2016, will likely sign between Feb. 13 and 17 once his scores are posted

So education is so important that:

A. You have never taken the ACT or SAT
B. The score you have isn't high enough
C. You just took the test and are awaiting results . . . during your senior year

Im going to guess B since some places won't let you visit without a score

5-star ATH Demetris Robertson enjoys Ga. Tech, misses Alabama visit again

Five-star Savannah (Ga.) Christian athlete Demetris Robertson took an official visit to Georgia Tech over the weekend and while the Yellow Jackets are considered a long shot to land him, from all accounts the trip was a success.

"The Georgia Tech visit went well," Robertson's older brother and guardian Carlos Robertson said. "Academics are a priority along with football and Georgia Tech fits the bill."

The plan was for Robertson and his family to leave Georgia Tech and head to Alabama for an official visit, but for the third time in a month the plans for an official to Tuscaloosa fell through.

"We were considering visiting Alabama after Georgia Tech but logistics and timing of things didn't work in our favor," Carlos Robertson said.

Had the Robertson's elected to visit Alabama on Sunday, they would have only been able to stay on campus for a few hours before making a lengthy trip home to Savannah.

Demetris told Rivals.com on Thursday that he planned to visit Alabama and Georgia prior to making his college decision. That means Robertson's decision won't come on National Signing Day.

The Yellow Jackets join California and Notre Dame as the three schools to host Robertson for official visits. Both the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide figure to jockey for a visit this upcoming weekend, with Robertson's anticipated decision coming sometime during the week of Feb. 7.

Demetris Robertson Will Not Sign On National Signing Day

Notre Dame will have to wait until next week to see if it will land one of the nation’s top overall prospects.

Savannah (Ga.) Christian School five-star athlete Demetris Robertson doesn’t plan to ink a letter of intent with any school on National Signing Day according to his brother and legal guardian Carlos Robertson.

“Demetris won’t be signing on Wednesday,” Carlos told Blue & Gold Illustrated on Tuesday. “It will probably be another week or so. He wants to take more time.”

Robertson — Rivals.com’s No. 1 athlete and No. 8 overall prospect — took an official visit to Georgia Tech this past weekend. He was scheduled to see Alabama on Sunday, but decided to cancel the trip at the last minute.

When asked why the family is delaying the decision, Carlos Robertson provided two reasons.

“We just want to take more time,” he said. “He also wants to get [his SAT score], so we can take an official visit out to Stanford and see how that is before sitting down and making an informed decision.”

Robertson has listed Stanford as a favorite throughout the recruiting process, but he has yet to gain admission to the school. He took the SAT on Jan. 16 with the hopes of raising his score, but the results from the test won’t be posted until Feb. 11. That happens to fall in line with when a decision is expected to come from Robertson.

“We’re targeting [signing] anywhere between the 13th and the 17th,” Carlos Robertson said.

Robertson still has two official visits to use after taking trips to Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and California, and could use one on Georgia this weekend, but waiting until Feb. 17 would allow the family to see Stanford the weekend of Feb. 13, should he gain admission into the Pac-12 school.

“We have stayed in touch with [Stanford offensive coordinator Mike Bloomgren],” Carlos Robertson said. “He’s from the Jacksonville area I think, which is kind of near here. … But he came down the late stages of the season.”

Notre Dame — which sent an 18-wheeler to see Robertson last week — has kept in contact with the family and Carlos Robertson said that the Irish were one of the few schools that has already sent them a letter of intent.

“We’re in constant talks with Notre Dame,” Carlos Robertson said. “We’re constantly speaking with [assistant coach Scott Booker] and checking up with him. So there’s plenty of communication.”

The 6-0, 180-pound Robertson is also the No. 1 prospect in Georgia, per Rivals.com.

Kid wants a good education which is why he is waiting on his SAT to see if he can get into Stanford. Just wonder if he wants to be an engineer or business major. GT and ND are top academic schools too.

Demetris Robertson: The 5-star athlete is an artist

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WJCL) - Far from the screaming fans and Friday night lights, Demetris Robertson finds his peace behind an easel.

"Art soothes me, it calms me down and relaxes my mind" says Robertson.

The Savannah Christian senior is one of the country's top football recruits, but Robertson says as long as there has been football there has been art.

"Me and my sister use to draw when we were little, we would draw shoes and stuff."

Robertson is part of the AP Art class at Savannah Christian with a handful of other students and just like on the gridiron Robertson strives to be the head of his class.

"He's very meticulous, he likes perfection in his drawings and is very detail oriented," says Robertson's Art Teacher Dana Richardson.

While Robertson's artwork might not be well known, almost every recruiter who has visited the 5-star recruit has spent some time looking at Robertson's drawings.

Robertson says, "It's important for me because I want them to see a different side."

February 3rd is when Robertson will announce where he will be attending college, but the Art student says he plans to major in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

"As a kid I always wanted to build stuff, I like big things like buildings and bridges
