Defensive Line Roster for 2018

There is absolutely ZERO excuses for this in year 3. The same can be said for CB.

We need to cultivate relationships down here before we can see some success with these SFL kids. I hear Richt is currently in the prenatal units at multiple hospitals trying to build relationships with some future DB's today. It's all about early talent identification.

Man we are counting on Willis to stay out of trouble and healthy. He hasn't done either in his career.

Also counting on Patchan to stay healthy....

Our defense has zero depth and will get worn down by good teams. Same old story. We will be forced to give snaps to guys that aren’t ready or aren’t quality players at DE, DT, and CB. The most important positions on defense that generally require experience and time in the weight room.

Dangerously thin at DE especially with D. Jackson coming back from injury. I see staff going after a grad transfer. We need bodies there.

I'm not gonna count on it, but Tyreic Martin stepping up and becoming a player would really change the complexion of the d-line roster and buy some time.

Tyreic is why Kul was hired . He's supposed to turn guys like this into good players , or at least rotational guys.He can't recruit for crap but he's a master technician of the position. So it's year three for a project , it's time.

Hopefully he keeps the streak alive, we're going to need bodies.

Agreed. We're going into year 3 with Martin. At the very minimum, he should start seeing snaps.

It's pitiful and I can't believe we are still having these issues in Richt's 3rd year. I was naive I guess in thinking that Richt would build this team right. He killed it on the offensive side this year but defense is woefully thin
