Dallas is an excellent prospect on both sides of the ball and a tremendous athlete in addition to being a natural playmaker. His commitment would be huge in terms of getting some momentum for 2017. [MENTION=13955]Zbrod95[/MENTION] You have mentioned FS several times in regards to Deejay's money position. When all is said and done, do you think Deejay is more valuable on offense or defense? Also, do you think he has the skills to play CB? I believe that several schools that have offered him are recruiting him as a WR. Also, where would you put Dallas's potential ceiling at WR compared to the top guys on our board?

We have to look at Bama as the school that's the biggest threat.
If he's serious about marine biology, Bama is no longer a threat.
 
Can confirmed that Eddie Brown is right up there with any receiver in Cane history. You can never have enough big play versatile athletes. Richt really wants this kid. Combine him with Juwan Burgess and you have two dynamic versatile athletes that are plug and play at slot, cb, safety and return.

I think he's valuable on both sides because I believe he's very dynamic and can also let us run and pass option plays because of his background as a QB as well. He has potential everywhere...a lot of potential but I like FS better because IMO he looks natural there. He's got really good instincts, tackles well, he can drop and play nickel, and has good hands. I think he compares to our top guys on the board but IMO he's more of a Y than an X or Z.

That's very refreshing Pete. With the used car antics of other regimes I immediately thought to myself "sucker" when I read that. Just another example of why CMR will really make a difference. Kids know when they are being told whatever they want to hear.

Yes, Deejay will be announcing his choice this Saturday. No set time yet but he mentioned he will let everyone know.

I feel very confident about us landing him but always have to be aware that surprises happen in recruiting. Go Canes!
 
1-2 high quality players from Georgia every year sounds about right with Richt as the HC....

It sounds like this will be #1 for this class...
