Anyone know anything about the kid, seen him play, or anything? I just saw the name the other day popup on twitter. Coached by Rumph, Kool started following him on twitter, but he doesn't seem to have any legit D1 offers. 6'4 315 DT. I just watched his film and he actually looks good. He's a massive kid that actually seems like he has a little quickness. The play at 1:24 shows how fast he can get off the ball.

If we can't land Southall or Guidry, or really if we don't land both and we have room I don't see why we couldn't take him. He would be in no rush to play for 2 years. Let him RS and get in our S&C, work with Kool, and I could see him being a good player down the road. Don't see many guys that size in Sfla at DT. Thoughts?

He's definitely a take as a plan B kid. Definitely a RS candidate. With Richt, we'll probably see 2-3 projects a class. I certainly wouldn't mind if this kid was one of them.

Bahamian kid...pretty big but agile at his size. Think he committed to Liberty though....

Ya I googled him and saw an article where he committed there. Easy flip if they see any potential imo.

So he's from the Bahamas..any idea how long he's been at Heritage and how many years he's played football? I was thinking maybe he only played 1 or 2 years in high school and that is why he's under rated. He honestly looks better than Ryan Fines coming out of HS.

Not very common to see a kid this size go unnoticed, especially looking at his film and he can actually play. I'd be perfectly fine taking him with the assumption that he's going to RS and probably not play until his 3rd year on campus. I have to imagine that this is their plan if Guidry and Southal fall through.

Ok. I wasn't expecting much when I looked at the highlight film. I was actually surprised to see that he is not bad. He moves pretty good for a HS kid that's 315lbs. This is a highlight video. They're made to make a player look good, so you have to take what u see with a grain of salt. He's got Size, and u can't teach that. He's Strong and got good feet, aggressive, long arms and he's suprisingly athletic. He lined up at end on a couple of those plays. His weaknesses that I saw (playing high at times, and not great using his hands to get off blocks) can be corrected with coaching, and We got the best DL coach in the land. How does a kid this big I n So Fla. that's big go basically unnoticed!? Does he not play hard? Is he new to football? All in all, he's not a bad fallback option (plan b, or c) if u don't need him to play immediately. With Coach Kool, I would say he's a take if we miss on some other guys

This is the type of kid Butch would've turned into a really good player. He does a lot of stuff wrong but I'd guess he has very little experience playing. Literally looks like coaches through him out there to just clog up the run game. He has a very long frame and long arms, very athletic for his size. I think he a year 3 or 4 player who blows up with really good coaching.

LOL at going after Liberty commits. Sounds like what Folden did last year with the FIU and FAU guys. Either get some top prospects or hold onto the scholarships. Stay out of the dumpsters.

I hear what you're saying chise, but this kid ain't bad. Coach Kool gets the benefit of the doubt from me till proven otherwise. Grolden just couldn't coach worth a ****!

this is what happened...They also have another big bahamian kid in George Ellis who is a junior..he has div 1 offers already though.

It was actually strange to me that he was that underrated....because s.fla doesnt have much dt's his size...add to it he plays on a pretty well known team...but i dont think he camped much or did the college tour thing like they did with their skill guys at heritage this summer...

He's a kid if you just redshirt get him into the s&c ..he shows on that investment as a rs soph. the raw ability appears to be there...he's a legit 6'2-290-300 pounder.

If you would actually watch the highlights you would see why I brought him up. Just made me wonder why he has no offers. Has to be someone on here with some info.

6'4 315 kids that are quick and play like him don't go to Liberty. At worst by watching this kid I would say he is USF or UCF type recruit. At worst.

And if he doesn't pan out after a few years tell him he can look elsewhere. He could transfer from Miami to liberty and not sit out a year moving from D1 A to AA

Coach Kool gets the benefit of the doubt. I just don't want to see us panic and start dumpster diving. This is how we wound up with Corey King and Junior Alexis. If we don't get UM quality DTs, then save the spots and make it happen in 2017.

Everyone knows about Heritage, and no one wants this dude. It ain't like Heritage is some tiny school in bumfck Tennessee. There are big-time prospects all over that roster that big-time programs have scoured and evaluated. And the best this dude has is fck *** Liberty.

There's a reason they call that video you watched a highlight.

I see size, strength, quickness, and a good motor in the highlights.

There's literally nothing else to look for in a DT. There's an underlying factor here. He may indeed not be Miami caliber but he's better than a Liberty recruit. That's why I made the thread.. To see if someone knows why.

Maybe he takes plays off and is lazy. But he has all the tools. That's something you can see in a highlight

i don't see richt taking projects. at georgia his team had a 51 pct ration of 4 star or better players. doesn't look like a project taking kinda guy.

Plan Z recruit if his only offer is Liberty.

LMAO at people trying to justify that. Good luck to the guy, but AH has players who all the programs know and have watched actual game footage of. He didn't stand out enough in game film to garner an offer. Since all the rest is good, his size and such, that should tell you all you need to know.

You see stuff that no D1 coach sees. Like I said, those little highlight videos are fun, but everyone's highlights look great. Remember Jacoby Briscoe? His highlights where he looked big and quick and won the playoff MVP in Louisiana? LSU wanted nothing to do with him because they knew he was a sloth.

Yes Hamilton's big. So was Darius Smith. You need to be a fire-breathing dragon to excel as a P5 DT. I don't think you're going to uncover some hidden gem at a major S. FL program like Heritage.
