Answers are here. They likely either waited for spring practice or an on campus eval. Clearly they're confident this isn't just going against poor competition.

the comp he played is like 1 step above youth football.

I agree would have to see how he performs at AH...which i expect him to look good still but that highlight film doesnt have 1 div 1 level player on it

Transferred to American Heritage from North Broward Prep so he should face much tougher comp this year.

This is one kid to watch for sure. He keeps progressing, he'll be a 5 star down the road if the size is there.

I was just going off of what that dude said. I'm not concerned about weight on a sophomore. Plenty of time to grow still. If he wanted to commit right now, I'd take it. That's some of the best sophomore clips at running back I've ever seen.
