You living close to that area has no bearing on Field. Field is a fixer in the Ray Donovan mold. He’s going to get it right.

They’ve always held a grudge about players not being recruited to Miami in our heyday and No’D and staff dumped gallons of poison in that place. I was shocked we even got Powell on campus.

In UM heyday??? Deerfield didn’t have players good enough to attend UM back then. Lol

Stocker McDougle played there and so did JPP. That’s just the names you know too. They were in the area for Stocker too because if they came to watch Dan Morgan (obviously) then they saw Stocker or would’ve heard of him. There was a poster here from that era talking about it. Btw I agree with you.

They actually would lose a lot of players to STA back then.

I couldn’t even answer that. That’s so far from my era of Deerfield football. Denard Robinson, Brandon Powell, Riley Ridley, Aaron Robinson was my era. There was an poster who left that talked about it because he graduated from there. I do know though if they were recruiting Dan Morgan (Coral Springs is 15 minutes west of Deerfield) then they definitely knew who Stocker was.

Yeah I was born and raised in Deerfield and played for Deerfield High. This was wayyyy before your time but Miami did recruit Deerfield.
 
Let's assume they would both want to come to UM (no idea)...Who ya got for one spot? Mcdougal vs. Restrepo for slot? Because imo, it may come down to that decision for a UM offer?

(Jones-Bell and Fleming are in their own league in my opinion bc can play outside or slot)

5x the chance we get Restrepo imo. I got to see a change at Deerfield before saying we have a shot with any of them.
