Shoutout to Wes for being willing to take a soul for the win. All this talk about missing tackles but let's give credit to the man that shot and didn't miss 🤧

Mendoza sold it begging for the call but he was about an inch from being hurt badly the way he ducked into that hit
That's my thing, it was a clean football play. Fortunately Mendoza wasn't hurt as you mentioned but trying to paint the hit as anything other than clean physical football is crazy. I feel like we're discussing the call/noncall more than Wes diagnosing and attacking quickly on a crucial down. So here to give buddy his flowers

NGL, it’s the middle of the night, and I’m trying to repress last 15-20 years of Miami football…then we get the face mask after stopping them on 3rd down…then the targeting review…

Too much man lol

If he wraps him up, it is the same exact result. They punt on 4th and medium. We got very lucky for that not to be called. Even if I agree with you.

Yes. He left it in the hands of the officials. If the call goes the other way, this place is roasting the tackle like he is Amari Carter...

Can’t fault the kid for making the play in the heat of the moment but yes, it was a borderline call. Now people will say, nah it was clean, it was borderline with today’s ridiculous rules. I would have been livid at the call if it was targeting myself but we were all nervous because we know this was borderline.
