Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei Top247 edge rusher Shaun Scott performed well at Brandon "BT" Jordan's Trench Performance Pass-Rush Retreat over the weekend. The 6-3, 230-pounder was in New Orleans and continues to look like one of the top pass rushers in the class of 2026. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 192 overall player in the country.

On the recruiting front, Scott is inching closer to a final decision. He has some visits remaining, but is starting to see a clear picture for his future.

On his upcoming official visits: "I haven't gotten that organized yet, but I'm looking forward to getting to Miami for sure. UCLA for sure. Michigantoo."

On an offer he still wants: "Georgia. I'll be getting to Georgia on May 29. It's an unofficial."

Tom's Take: Miami has the edge heading into official visits. That is the team to beat. UCLA is doing a really good job and Michigan is clearly a top contender. The Bulldogs could surge with a good visit next month.
