I don’t think he is wrong I just think both of yall are arguing over semantics. “On field coach” has been replaced in nomenclature by countable coaches. Any number of coaches can coach during practice but now only “countable” coaches can recruit off campus. That being said most schools are playing musical chairs with “countable coaches” for instance certain analyst will be elevated for a day or two to allow them to have face to face contact with recruits they have relationship with. We are doing that now bc we have openings but don’t be surprised if it continues post hiring. You could see Hetherman relegated one week so that Navarro can make in roads with kids and hand it off to heatherman the following week.

We are NOT talking about recruiting limitations. We acknowledge the recruiting limitations.

We ARE talking about how many coaches can coach in practices and games. And that number now has no limit.

In this college landscape, speedy hires may not amount to much as we still have to deal with the NFL hiring and firing windows.

You fell into the same mistake of going off on irrelevant issues when multiple people had already clarified. Nobody said you made a mistake on your boring recitation of the rules.
