DB Bryce Fitzgerald commits to Miami

Physicality is way more mental and desire than just actually being physical. You can tell in one practice if a guy likes to hit and if he doesn't cool play at CB but know you'll be targeted
I agree. You can double your squat numbers but if you aren't willing, it won't make a difference.

That was me and I still feel this way.

We’ll see what he looks like when he hits the field here.

I just don't see slow on tape. I respect your observations, you've been spot on in other cases. But based on his highlights, he looks plenty fast and agile to me, more so than say a Jamal Carter, and much more than a Jaquan Johnson. And of course his height and frame are also prototypical. I'm a fan. I just want to see him tackling downhill at some point.

Jenkins wasn’t physical his first few years here. After he took that rs when he got hurt his 3rd year he came back a different player. He added some weight and all of a sudden he became physical

Same with James Williams. It's not natural, but it can be taught.

Zayquan, Stubbs, Fitzgerald, Antoine,

That’s frontrunner type recruiting at db..

Add Picket and it’s Saban level recruiting.
Respectfully disagree. Saban stacked talent. He did it every year. Having a good class at a position one year, and whiffing the next, is not going to cut it. Miami has a tendency to miss completely on position groups every other year. A couple injuries, and we got scrubs on the field. If we don't flip some kids this cycle, we'll end up outside a top 10 class...and we might go undefeated on the field. That would be unacceptable

I imagine the recruiting will become more even after this year.

Cristobal inherited such a mess that he had to concentrate his efforts on certain position groups. Once we get a good DB group in this year he'll be able to just restock every room, rather than having to completely rebuild every room.

I literally said at db and was talking about this class.
Look at the last 2 games and you see the position of utmost need at this time.
This class ain’t done yet and a lot of national writers have hinted on flips.
Mario is dealing with a 20 year narrative that has been reinforced by team performance and the administration’s lack of support. This year he and the school president have a chance to rewrite it.

You’re not wrong that he has to stack talent consistently. Let’s see how this plays out by signing day.

Talking about this class and combining last year is nasty work.

Stubbs has been getting negative reviews on here.

Fitzgerald apparently doesn't like tackling.

Antoine is a QB and just had a "significant injury".

Stubbs has gotten negative feedback from 2 people who watched the same one game. He’s been balling all throughout highschool, saying he’s bad from one game would be like saying Cam Ward is a bust after watching only the VT game.

He’s received plenty of positive feedback from people like @Memnon and @Coach Macho . This narrative needs to stop.
