I disagree, that IS MAJOR.. Porter made an immediate impact last season after not going through a full year of S&C. So I can only imagine how dominant he will be this year healthy and stronger.

Also, coach D is on point. Two forces were playing against him last year, one was youth and the other was playbook which they usually go hand in hand. The improvement we'll see this year will be exponential from last.

Lastly, a SLB at around 235 in McCord will give this team more flexibility in scheme and blitz packages.

Building a solid defense has never been a problem for any of the Big 3 in the state of FL. I expect a a huge leap in performance out of our defense this year. Top 35-45 defense this next season.

Miami was in every game last season except for KSU and ND who were both top 10 teams. Golden is going to have this team firing on all cylinders this season. We back....

I know we say this every year, but these dudes legit look a lot bigger

Especially our LBs

55.jpg

yup, this dude looks WAY bigger

The good thing is he still can add a bunch of weight to those legs. Hope he's around 245 by the start of Fall camp. That would mean he plays around 235-238 throughout the season.

I don't get why all of you are surprised that kids like Kirby, Bush, Howard, McCord, Jenkins, etc are much bigger. The gains and changes to the body are greatest in the first few years. These kids were all true freshman last year and most did not even have one off-season of a college training program.

And that's why my expectations for the D this year are much much higher than last year.

Day 2 Reports:

Why are you quoting exactly what Brian the Beast London said on CaneInsider and taking credit for it without naming the source? By the way, Mr. London was actually at practice and this is what he actually posted.

The team started a bit late this AM..no reason given

Conditions are perfect...57 degrees..sunny..light breeze...football weather..

A few notes from the early part of practice
- Al is officially the ST coordinator....not surprising...he was defacto ST coordinator last year.

-Fentress is now a DB ...will still be a monster on STs

- Dorsett and Dallas Crawford doing lots of PR work this AM

-Coach D was trying to provide a little "extra motivation" for Tyriq this am

K. Ricky Perez was kicking it well inside 40...further than that...smh

Gray Crow was holding...operation was suspect--lots of bad snaps...looked like wheeler was doing some snapping

More when practice ends at 12:40

NDE had a strange infatuation with caneinsider. Always defending them.

I think we all knew that OP was copying and pasting that report, no reason to be captain save a beast.

Just give credit where credit is due. Don't act like it's your info.

PS: I do go to that site and "hang out" just like I do with this board and a few others.
