This guy will be treating opposing DEs like tsetse flies.

All the doom and gloom guys still see him as a 3 year project?

love that he looks ready to go, but don't you think we should see him play before concluding he's a superstar? Bunche looked every bit that big and even more athletic the day he set foot on campus, amd he hasnt squashed many tse tse flies here yet.

He was a starting tackle for all 12 games last year as a soph. Bunche's career is just getting started.

Honestly it should.

I just notice that people are more apt to take the wait and see approach when the guy isn't as highly touted, when 5 stars should have to prove it just as much as the 3 star kids.

He was a starting tackle for all 12 games last year as a soph. Bunche's career is just getting started.

He sat out a year after HS. It was his fourth year out of HS, and third in the program. And i'm not knocking him, just pointing out that looking ready and being ready are different things.

Generally. I concluded Duke was going to be a superstar before he hit the field, and i dont regret it. Varies a bit by position and kid. Linemen for sure you need to watch and wait.

For everyone worried about McCord's switch to SLB on the depth chart, Golden confirmed in the interview today that he hasn't changed positions, that's basically what he was doing last year (SLB on 1st and 2nd downs, rush DE on 3rd).

Was that coming out of HS last year or was it this year? I could have sworn he was pretty highly coveted by the programs in his neck of the woods and had people raving about his skills. Maybe they didn't rate him because he had no chance of qualifying.
