Davon Martin CB Orlando Edgewater

Very solid kid love the way he fights through every play even when beat he fights back and trys to make a play. Has good speed and break. Needs to work on technique though. A take imo

Geez, how many ints and PBUs didthis kid have in one season? That's an impressive highlight. Kid actually reminds me of Tracy Howard. Doesn't have that breakaway speed or phonebooth type hips, but a playmaker. Definitely would like him in this class.
Tracy Howard was not fast

Why was he not able to get on the field at Wr. Fast and a D1 athlete and can’t get in????????

He was fast enough to be a solid college player. Had excellent instincts. Maybe this kid is faster but I didn’t see it in the highlights. I did see a playmaker. Pairs well with Clarke.
Are we talking about the same Tracy Howard??? Tracy Howard sophomore year, yes...T. Howard Junior & Senior year, **** no...P.I. machine

I'm being told that Kansas is where he's most likely headed.

Unless Miami comes with a commitable offer. Those edgewater kids can play, an they are uber competitive they gave STA all they could handle in the championship game.

Go Canes

Dude got real good ball skills and looks like he runs well. Offer the dude and lock him up.

Last year, Edgewater had a few good WRs with a QB that only threw the ball maybe 12-14 times a game so it wasn't really that Martin didn't get on the field, he just didn't do much with the scheme that was being ran. Their QB ended up at Virginia as an ATH. This year they have two D1 WR who will both end up being in the top 50 WR. Martin was a knucklehead as well. He finally got it together this year.

A little knucklehead never hurt on D.
