He's devastated to say the very least, and has all along expected to not just play football, but compete to start regardless of who is signed, etc. - that's his mindset. Obviously derailed by the shoulder trouble, he's in a frustrating doldrum now. Frikkin stinks for him and for us. I am sure in his heart he is determined he will beat this.
Sad, especially for such a talented kid. Sucks when guys like this, Josh Witt, Gavin Hardin etc are done before they even get started. Hopefully with modern medicine it just delays his dream, not ends it.
