You’re not negative, you’re a realist and don't live in Orange and green la-la-land.
I like to think so. I pretended to mope for a few days because people said that so I took it to another level.

I say when it’s good and I say when it’s bad. I’ve said I’m starting to get excited about our defense. I was one of the last ones to turn on Guidry to begin with. I was one of the last ones to turn on Jaden Harris. Lol.

My hope is being from Philly (a big city) is actually much more comparable to Miami than small town Happy Sandusky Valley. Closer to home is a draw no doubt for them but it's not a stretch he'd like the big city more, especially with a nice little NIL bag at his disposal.
If it makes sense… being from Philly and being from “Pennsylvania” aren’t really synonymous. Hopefully it isn’t a factor. Would be much more concerned if it were Ohio State

I randomly happened to be the 1st (or right around the 1st) to turn on Flagg and Harris. I just happened to really key on both of them early in their careers for different reasons. The first time i keyed on him was because of the overwhelming love i was seeing for the freshman Flagg. What i watched instead, was a turn style. I complained- and caught so much **** for about a year- eventually that turned and he was treated like ****. I actually wound up feeling bad for him (despite his horrendous LB play for almost his entire career). Then Jaden Harris caught my eye only because a friend of mine’s son knew him in HS and told me what a good guy he is. So i keyed on him, and was very nervous with his instincts and angles. Warned folks on here going into this year- and got hit pretty hard just like i did with Flagg. And now everyone hates him. And now i feel bad for the kid again. Either way, i am happy we are upgrading.

I remember your comment similar to this about Harris last year or earlier in 2024.

I always knew Harris was raw and never played safety before Miami. I’m not even sure how he got moved there to begin with. He was an unrefined athletic specimen CB in HS. It’s really hard to just pick up safety.

I thought he’d progress and they saw something there they liked so I gave it time. I also was under the assumption that Guidry had strong safety play everywhere he went, and he did. Until now. Idk what happened
