Chad Thomas said the same thing in regards to Matthew Thomas two years ago. We saw how that turned out. I dont think Chad even gave FSU a serious look. So it goes both ways.

I was hoping Pete would ask about the "off the field" rumors that have been going around. I know that is personal but he could have worded it in a way that didnt come across disrespectful. If that is going to play a part in his decision, I def would like to know. Because then I would urge the young man to leave town and wish him luck if the rumors are true.

I'm still sticking with Phillips to UM if we have a good season, Golden has to be smart on the WR scholarships now. Spence was a surprise commit that I did not expect. I really think we can pull all the fire teammates in durante, ridley, and phillips. Phillips is surrounded by all guys who love the U, Golden should sell all three on playing together.

Agreed. When you're as talented as these top tier kids, it doesn't matter where you go, your talent is what gets you to the next level. It's not a business decision for guys like Dalvin Cook and Sony. That's just a cop out to leave the hometown hanging

2013: Allen Hurns (3*)
2012: Phillip Dorsett (3*)
2011: Tommy Streeter (4*)
2010: Leonard Hankerson (3*)
2009: Leonard Hankerson (3*)

We do just fine at receiver with 3* prospects

Travis Rudolph was virtually a nobody when golden offered him and he commited. After the season buddy was a top 5 WR in the country. Sorry but i think ill trust Al when it comes to evals . Plus I heard Spence was the goods. Just going unnoticed.

I ain't a bit concerned about whether or not we ink Phillips. There are plenty better receivers available. All I care about is Defensive Linemen! We'll always have skill players and if we smash on defense the offense will follow. We just have to start winning some that FSU and others are getting those really good kids we didn't have room for.

And Miami is a dark horse for him an anyways, because he plays on the same 7v7 team as Ridely & Shawn Burgess-Becker. Dalvin Cook just didn't want to come to miami especially after Yearby committed. And I see Shawn Burgess Becker playing WR at Miami, the safety position will be kinda crowded with JaQuan Johnson, kiy Hester, gayot, Jamal carter, & Tim Irving.

Exactly the type of kid that we have watched walk away the last couple of years.

Not saying we don't land this type of talent, but just his whole recruitment.....these guys just havent ended up here lately.

I have zero faith here unfortunately.
